UK: Oban, Scotland

Welcome to Oban, Scotland. It is about three hours north of Glasgow. The pictures may seem repetitive, however the beauty of Scotland is not! While in Oban we took a seal sight seeing boat tour. Also, please note a few videos at the bottom.

Facts of Oban:
  • Scottish Gaelic: An t-Oban meaning The Little Bay
  • "Gateway to the Isles"
  • Population: 8,120
  • Tourist season population: 25,000
  • Mountains in the background: Morvern and Ardgour

See the Castle covered in moss.

Leaving the coastline of Oban on our Seal Outing.

Quick hello from my fellow travelers (Dana, my cousin and her friends Vlad and Amna)

The Jellyfish Video. When on our Seal tour, we could see Jellyfish by the pailful in the water. So the skipper pulled one out of the water to show us. Quite interesting!
